Why choose you as a guide?
There are undoubtedly several well qualified fishing guides in the Austin area. Capt. Tyler however lives less than 10 minutes from Lake Travis and spends over 250+ days on the water each year. By constantly being on the water he knows what the pattern is, where fish are holding, where schools of bass are, and what the hot bait is. When it comes to knowing how to catch fish, there is no substitute for time on the water. Tyler also prides himself on the quality of his boat and equipment. When booking a guide and spending your hard earned money on a fishing trip, take into consideration the gear you will be using. Tyler runs a top of the line 21 foot long tournament rigged Skeeter, and only uses high end tackle. Its your money, why not hire the best!
How long do the trips last?
Half day trips consist of 4 hours on the water fishing. Your guide will have the boat ready before you get to the lake in order to maximize your time on the water. Full day trips consist of 8 hours on the water.
Is the price per group or per person?

How many guests can you fit?
Three anglers is the maximum I can fit.
Do I need to bring my own tackle?
If you have a favorite rod or something new to try out you are welcome to bring your own gear. However, your captain will have everything you need for the day. All rods and reels are high end Dobyns and Shimano and are specialized for each technique you will be fishing.
Can I keep what I catch?
What should I bring with?
All fishing gear is provided, however there are a few things you should consider bringing. Drinks, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and a camera are all great items to bring. Small coolers similar in size to a lunch box are more than welcome. Full size coolers such as a Yeti 35 or larger are not permitted. There is a cooler built into the boat you are more than welcome to use.
Are you child friendly?
Absolutely! Children over the age of 5 are welcome aboard. At least a third of my clients bring their children with to introduce them to the sport of bass fishing. When booking a trip please include in your message that you will be bringing a child. I also ask that you include their approximate weight so that I can bring an appropriate sized life jacket. Children 13 and under are required to wear a life jacket at all times when in the boat.

Customizable Applicant Screening
Team Personnel has a detailed screening procedure to carefully assess every applicant for whom we have a resume. Our screening process examines job history, cross-functional skills, background and references. If your work environment or company policy requires it, we can easily customize our screening process to include drug testing, detailed background checks and social security verification. Just ask.
Throughout Most of Twin Cities
Team Personnel has the ability to transport large numbers of employees (up to 50 per shift) throughout the Twin Cities metro area, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. With this service, you’re guaranteed that all employees will arrive on time and that any overbooking is handled at our office and not yours. As a general rule, our transportation service is available to our clients at no additional charge.
