You will assist in all aspects of shipping, receiving and warehousing of products and act as back-up to the Shipping Lead.
Duties include; receiving and inspection functions, preparing goods and paperwork for outgoing shipments, directing vehicle loading, and ensuring all paperwork is completed and processed to facilitate accurate shipments, paperwork and billing of shipped merchandise or credits for returned product.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Act as back-up for the Shipping Lead.
Review customer order and vendor order reports to schedule product deliveries in the most cost efficient and time saving manner possible.
Maintain communications with Customer Service & Plant Manager to insure timely delivery of products to customers.
Ensure proper preparation and completion of all internal and external documents for shipment of product.
Assist in the Coordination of deliveries and facilitate loading and prompt departure of tractor/trailer to maximize trailer utilization and meet customer delivery requirements.
Receive and inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure proper product is received and is entered into system in a timely manner and all paperwork is processed per procedure and product put in bins.
Ensure work areas and warehouse are kept tour presentable and in a safe operating condition.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
Must be able to read a tape measure to identify a measurement to 1/16ths of an inch.
Position requires driving fork lift, lifting of 50lbs and pushing/pulling carts and pallet jacks of 500 lbs. on a regular basis.
Should possess basic computer skills and have knowledge of barcode scanning

5:00 am- 1:00 pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate:
$18.00-$20.00/hour
