Responsible for basic electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance. Conducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance duties. Accepts direction from Director of Maintenance. Follows established city and state building codes.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with preventative and restorative maintenance for health facility campus.
Completes all repair requests for assigned area.
Repairs wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, call lights, curtain/cubicle rods.
Replaces ceiling tiles and electrical outlets as needed not located in resident rooms
- Reports and records information pertaining to preventative maintenance.
Keeps campus grounds clean of refuse.
Assists with snow removal as needed.
Paint outdoor areas as needed
Cleans/organize boiler rooms, work shop, storage areas
Collect garbage from outside receptacles
Cleans compactor/dumpster/smoke areas daily.
Upholds campus policies and procedures.
Knows and practices good safety habits.
Performs related work as assigned.
JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to work an on-call schedule and weekends.
Must be able to perform physical job demands of position.
Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
