We are looking for a hardworking, positive individual to join the shipping team! You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, maintaining inventory, and maintaining accurate records associated with our shipping department.
Responsibilities:
Manages the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborates and communicates with, customer service representatives, production, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Inputs task data into the company’s MRP computer system.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Accurately tracks all daily moves, inventory, shipments, shipping methods.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Palletizes, secures, and prepares paperwork for shipments.
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills: can use Excel, Word, Outlook and learn our MRP.
Pulling, packing, preparing shipments and loading in accordance with FIFO.
Receiving, sorting, stocking in accordance with FIFO.
Can safely use a forklift and powered pallet jack.
Valid Driver’s license.
Hours:
7:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday; 7:00 am-10:00 am Friday
Pay Rate:
$16.00-$16.50/hour
